Brothers in Arms is a 501c3 non-profit formed by two former Lynchburg area Firefighters that were both diagnosed with two separate illnesses, but were both taken out of work indefinitely. Patrick Moody was a Firefighter/EMT for 10 years prior to being diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon cancer. David Cox was a Firefighter/Medic for 15 years prior to being diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis. Both men are fighting for their lives instead of fighting fires but, both look to God for grace and understanding so that they can further help their communities of first responders when the need arises.
